The soul of Sicily, in Salt Lake City
Where meals linger, stories unfold, and every guest is treated like family.
Sicily, brought to your table.
Our pasta, bread, and pastries are made by hand, every day. Giro was born and raised in Taormina, the town we're named for, and chooses every wine himself. Chef Leonardo brings the cooking of Catania and sources our ingredients with the same care. It's not a theme. It's where we're from.

Come as a guest. Leave a friend of 'mina.
There's a person behind every great restaurant. At 'mina, it's Giro Messeri.
Giro grew up in Taormina, the Sicilian town we're named for, where he learned that a stranger is just a friend you haven't met, and that people should leave feeling better than when they arrived. He's spent his life making people feel seen, and now he does it here, usually greeting you at the door by name.
Tell him it's your anniversary, and your wedding song might be playing when dessert arrives. Mention a dish you loved in Sicily, and the chef may surprise you with it next time. None of it is scripted. It's just how Giro is, and it's how 'mina works.
"Giro Messeri knows how to take care of people."
